YouTube Slap How To Avoid Getting Your Channels Deleted

Don’t Get YouTube Slapped!

the youtube slap

Have you heard of the YouTube Slap? It is common knowledge now that YouTube has dramatically changed the YouTube terms of service in the last few months. This has led to them deleting millions of videos and banning this YouTube channels permanently as a result.

Internet marketers have invested millions of dollars on sophisticated software which allows them to easily make use of Youtube’s live stream feature to stream previously created videos. This is obviously against the YouTube terms of service since these are not true live stream videos! They are not live at all in fact.

Live streaming is meant to stream live content to an audience. Because of the fact the it is being streamed live, Google deems the content to be newsworthy since a live audience is watching the stream.

Now you know what happens when Google believes you content is important?

The content gets preference of other related content and most often gets placed on page one of Google really quickly. Often within minutes!

Live Streaming Software

Savvy developers quickly realized the huge potential this has in the video marketing and SEO markets. If they could develop an app that would take a previously created video and fool YouTube into believing this was a real live streamed event that was taking place, they would have a winner. And they did!

Now I have been doing live streaming from the day YouTube and Google released the live streaming feature and was well aware of the power of this procedure if done correctly. I have in fact been running a video SEO service for clients for the last year using Live Stream Alpha.

I watched with some concern as developer after developer started creating their own version of this tool. I knew what was coming. It had to… YouTube (which is Google) would act!

This they did in the form of a YouTube Slap!

All of a sudden millions of people started live streaming short pre-created videos and getting amazing page one rankings in minutes. The more these guys succeeded the more live streaming apps were created as unscrupulous developers jumped on the band wagon.

These are the guys that recognise a market and will exploit the end users mercilessly without regard for consequences. Once the tool stops working well, they blame Google or YouTube and move on to the next best thing that is currently the rage. Leaving their clients disillusioned and out of pocket.

I knew that a change was coming in what YouTube would accept, the only question was when it would happen. As a consequence I started changing the way we work at VRANK. Imagine for a minute what would happen to the business if all of a sudden all of our videos and channels were deleted! I would be out of business, my clients would lose all of their income producing videos, the staff would lose their jobs and worst of all, my reputation would be in tatters.

A solution had to be found!

I am happy to announce that I did find a solution which still allows me to do mass live streaming of clients videos every day with having any channels deleted! It took quiet a lot of experimentation and discussions with wiser heads than mine, and thankfully I can today show you a foolproof method that will allow to achieve the same results I do.

You can watch the first part of a five part webinar Bernardo and I recently held which will give you a good idea of what we are doing.
